Recently, the Gormley & Gamble team were invited to the Kristin Hjellergjerde Art Gallery to showcase some of our pieces - it was a celebration of craftsmanship, connection, and conversation with The London Women and Wine Club. Surrounded by lively discussion and the clinks of glasses, guests gathered to experience an evening that perfectly mirrored our own ethos: refined, purposeful, and distinctly personal.

We were joined by women from every corner of London’s professional, creative, and entrepreneurial worlds.

About The London Women and Wine Club

Founded by Laurence and Anne - both holders of the WSET Diploma - The London Women and Wine Club is centred around two timeless pleasures: wine and women. The club’s mission is simple yet powerful: to create a relaxed and elegant environment where accomplished women can expand their knowledge of wine while building genuine connections.

Unlike traditional wine societies, the club moves through London, hosting gatherings once a month in private and beautiful spaces - each with a different theme, speaker, and curated pairing of food and wine. The result is a series of evenings that are as educational as they are inspiring.

Each session features a guest speaker - a woman of influence or expertise - who brings a fresh perspective to the conversation. Whether the topic is art, leadership, entrepreneurship, or personal growth, every event is designed to spark dialogue and discovery.

Membership is by co-option, ensuring an intimate and trusted network of women from diverse fields: business leaders, creatives, community figures, and, of course, wine enthusiasts. With just ten sessions a year, it’s a low-commitment, high-benefit club where the true rewards come from connection, confidence, and curiosity.
